The weekly number of new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases increased over the last two weeks. The daily average of 2,195 cases for this reporting period was higher than the previous fortnight’s daily average of 1,730 cases. There were 30,727 cases of COVID-19 reported this fortnight, bringing the 2021 cumulative case count to 101,723.
