Australia continues to report low numbers of COVID-19 cases, with a total of 28,574 COVID-19 cases including 909 deaths reported nationally. There has been a recent shift from overseas-acquired cases to locally-acquired cases, largely attributed to localised outbreaks in New South Wales and Victoria this reporting period.
