Addendum
Editorial changes to the article on 'Salmonella Distribution in Humans and Poultry' contributed by C. Murray of the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science, Adelaide and published in CDI 86/5 page 13, may have caused confusion. The author did not state that "Raw chicken meat is a major source of Salmonella infection within community". He actually stated that "Raw chicken meat has a higher incidence of Salmonella contamination than other sources of meat". [end]
