Correction (School-based vaccinations of a new human papilloma virus vaccination)
Abstract
A correction to "School-based vaccinations delivered by general practice in rural north Queensland: an evaluation of a new human papilloma virus vaccination program", published in Communicable Diseases Intelligence (Commun Dis Intell 2008;32, issue 1:94–98). it ‘fainting’ as a ‘significant adverse event’. Fainting is actually a non-significant event and is not uncommon in mass vaccination programs of adolescent girls.
In addition, the authors would like to acknowledge Queensland Health as the funding source for the school-based vaccination program.
